Now were actually starting to get somewhere with catching up on blog posts, I thought we'd go back to yet another fantastic box from Dog and Hat!
This is the September Box which featured MOK and Gentlemen Barista - and you might recognise Gentlemen Barista from a One Click Box a good few months back, and again sneak peak - it didn't disappoint.
MOK Speciality Coffee
MOK is a micro coffee roastery from Belgium, always aiming for the very best roasting and brewing to bring you the finest coffee experience.
The coffee is roasted on a Giesen W15, which means they roast in small batches of 10-15kg. Roasting in such small volumes allows Jens (The founder of MOK) to fully control the roasting process, making sure that the tasting profile of the bean is just right. Thanks to a close relationship with coffee traders, they always know the origin of their coffee beans.
Jens Crabbé started the company when he had just turned 22, the idea of creating his own product and making it as good as possible was something that really fed his ambition and character as a person.

This coffee had such gorgeous floral aromas, with lots of citrus-y notes. as it cooled the subtle tea flavours burst through, making it a delicious cup of coffee.
I am loving trying more foreign roasters to see how different they are to roasters over here in the UK.

Gentlemen Baristas
Gentlemen Baristas was founded because we were tired of people telling us what we can or can't drink. Tired of poor customer service and people who don't see to care about the coffee or the customers. So we founded GBs as our response.
We have a tagline. We thought it was important. Manners are key - they're important, they're neglected, and people do care about them. They go to the core of our identity; we are upright and correct and strive to evoke the best of a period gone by, it is "Well-Mannered Coffee"

Much like the coffee from MOK, I seriously cant get enough of this coffee. It's buttery mouthfeel, it's consistent citrus acidity, and nutty finish makes it absolutely delicious. It's a well rounded cup every brew, and stays delicious even when it cools.
